In Memory of JFK Jr.
Burying the legacy
He inherited his father's legacy but the world slept through it. Since
Kennedy was assassinated, on November 22 1963, his enemies and his assassins
have labored to create a world that favors prejudice over reason, gossip
over truth and ignorance over knowledge. It is the grossest distortion
this world has ever produced, and John F. Kennedy Jr. traveled at the center
of the storm with the grace that threatened to blow the entire, fraudulent
lid away. Even Richard Mellon Scaife could not resist the temptation to
spar with the man who embodied everything that he was not.
Surrounded by political scavengers who had exhausted more than a full
presidential term manipulating every conceivable institution, in effort
to exact a de facto coup d'etat, JFK Jr. was routinely befriended,
not for the sake of genuine friendship, but for the malignant purpose of
destroying his Liberal influence. We always feared for the safety of John
F. Kennedy Jr., but we underestimated their ruthless disregard for human
life. We will never underestimate them again.
"We dared to think, in that other Irish phrase, that this John Kennedy
would live to comb gray hair, with his beloved Carolyn by his side. But
like his father, he had every gift but length of years.
We who have loved him from the day he was born, and watched the remarkable
man he became, now bid him farewell.
God bless you, John and Carolyn. We love you and we always will".
