"The Dope Philosophy is the belief in absolute and complete freedom of all expression and action. This uncensored freedom will eliminate the fear of incarceration for what we would now call a victimless crime, as they affect no one but those who choose to participate. Specifically, Dope supports the movement to decriminalize and eventually legalize all drugs regulated in the same fashion as alcohol and nicotine. Police brutality, prostitution, and the fight against racism also figure heavily into this equation. The benefits of this philosophy include the huge economic gain through the taxing of drugs and prostitution, as well as a reduction of the crime rate and the overwhelming cost of needlessly jailing thousands of nonviolent offenders in an environment that breeds violence more than rehabilitation."

Edsel Dope... Here are some really odd pics of Edsel the lead singer from Dope...When i met him he seemed really kool...except for the fact that he didn't know who i was when i ran into him at the last show gggrr. more info added later...when i have the time He was born in south of Florida and lived with his mom. He's 23, and im pretty sure single...hehe. He dropped out of school at the age of 16 and moved to NY City to pursue his musical career with his older brother, Simon Dope. Now he's tearing up the stage with that deep, wicked, sinister voice of his and writing most of the lyrics...

Tripp Eisen (guitarist/basist)...::sighs:: hmm lets get to know Tripp Eisen...Tripp was originally Dope's bassist but he became guitarist when Sloane left the band. He's 26 yrs old and grew up in Detroit until he moved out to NJ or something and decided to join Dope in NY. Here are more pics...oh you know you want him... Haha well the second time i met Tripp, i got all excited and shy of course. During their set, this chick was like feeling his leg So then Tripp was repulsed by her and he kept pushing her away but some chicks are just slow and don't get the point. So after their set i didn't get to see them until like an hr later when Drain s.t.h's set was over. It was definetly worth it though, that's all i can say.

Candy said we met him, but i think while she was sucking dick for coke she just couldn't think straight or was it glue? i don't know. I actually saw him but i was umm uhh kind of busy doing someone I MEAN something at that time so i couldnt do anything...damn...

Simon Dope also grew up in central Florida except he was raised by his father. He's now 26 yrs old and Keyboardist for Dope.

I FINALLY met Simon, i just kept staring at him, so he probably thought i was just some stalker chick or something. So when i had the courage to go up to him i asked him for a picture and being the kool, sweet nice guy that he is, he said yea and i asked him where tripp was...hehe my lil obsession.

The funniest moment was when Tripp was like i know 3 people like you simon, and simons like what?!? and hes like your personality type, i mean i know three other people with those same facial expressions and so simon was finally like tripp are you going to be out here and hes like if you want me to sure, i'll stay out and simons like good im going in the tour bus dont follow me...LOL LOL im sooo sorry but that was soo funny i felt soo bad for Tripp

Preston Nash is originally from Newark, New Jersey, and later moved to Queens, where he taught music at the college level. Tripp had been playing with Preston in another band and he was soon asked to join Dope as the live drummer.

dope is on the road with Sevendust & Static X! Starting in January 2000, they hook up with POWERMAN 5000 & Static X! Check out the latest dope tour dates here! dope has had to cancel their shows scheduled for West Virginia and Grand Rapids on 1/22 and 1/24 in order to do pre-production for the Powerman 5000 Tour that starts in Seattle on 1/28. They apologize to anyone who was planning on going to those shows. dope's live performance of "Debonaire" from their ECW appearance will run on TNN on Friday, January 21st at 8pm.
