Well what can be said about one of the greatest gaming industries in history? With another installment in the NHL series which keeps getting better and better with each passing year. I remember sitting down and playing NHL 94 for the hours at time on my Sega Genisis. Actually I still do on my Nomad. The sound is a real plus in this game with songs from Garbage and Uberzone in it. This game also has one of the best anouncing teams that have many phrases that won't get old for a while.

The updates from last years game are definetly a step forward for the team. With a new big hit button that lets you really play hockey and a all new button mashing fight system that is not bad but wasn't really a need for the game.

All and all this game has potential and it is a must buy for any hockey fan out there plus if you've got the friends this will be one heck of a game.
