You are in for a treat with this one! A new game is being created for all you dreamcast wrestling fans out there. At first I was a little dissapointed to here that in Royal Rumble there will be no create a wrestler or season mode. But then I warmed up to the idea of a arcade game that gives you a break from simulations for a while.

The gameplay is said to be pretty good right now even though it is only around 45 percent done. The royal rumble portion of the game will actually allow 9 men in the ring at a time! Yes and people at E3 said that there is no showing of slow down in it. The part that is even better is that with the dreamcast's internet capabilities, it will be able to connect and you can play 8 different people online.

The graphics as you can see are also up to the dreamcast standards and who knows about the sound yet but I'm sure it will be up there. THQ is just taking over the wrestling industry! With Smackdown 2 coming to the playstation and the new wrestler coming for the N64, this fall it is going to be all wrestling, all the time!

Now I know you might not believe it but there are some downfalls. For one there will only be 20 wrestlers in the game and the play is probably going to be limited since it is arcade.

But another good part is that before each match you can pick a partner. That partner stays at ringside, but so does your opponents. Whenever you need help you can call on him and tell him to throw weapons into the ring or come in and do moves on your opponent. The royal rumble portion will have 99 guys coming in which is kind of weird since there are only 20 guys in the game which means you will be seeing a lot of the guys more than twice in the game.
