A new game from Eidos that involves you as a cop taking down the criminals of the new millenium. The story is that you are a young women rookie cop named Darci' Stern that has been sent out on the streets. Ever since the new millenium the crime rate has went sky high and it's your job to take out the trash!

You start off with three training levels that train you in driving, fighting, and basic skills. When these are all done it's time to kick a little butt. You have to do all sorts of missions like the first one you have to bring a car back to the police station and on the way you have to arrest a mugger. Many other missions are here to do, anything from talking a suicidal man out of jumping from a building to high speed chases.

Now the graphics are all right but are a bit blocky and should have been spruced up a little. This can be looked aside though.

On the other hand is the gameplay which is nice but could also be better. The game really lacks in the help department. You pretty much have to find out how to do everything on your own. The control is nice though because there are two main fight buttons, one for punches and shooting the gun and the other is for kicks. You can do so many different moves with just these two buttons like you can kick a guy in the groin area even. The control is some of the best stuff the game has to offer.

Next the sound is how it should be in a action game like this. Just enough to keep you pumped up and ready to carry out the next mission. It makes sure to have voices for everyone you talk to and text on the screen to read along with. It's really good overall.

Well in the end when all the dust is cleared Urban Chaos shines through. It is a good game and should really be looked into if you like action type games and are looking for a new look for the crime system.
