A Witch

A Witch is one who has power over their own life.

One who makes their own rules.

One who refuses to submit to self-denial.

One who recognizes no authority with greater esteem than their own.

One who is more loyal to themselves than to any abstraction.

A Witch is one who is untamed.

One who says, "I am a Witch" aloud three times.

One who transforms energy.

One who can be passionate about their ideals and values as they are changing.

One who is explosive, whose intensity is like volcanoes, floods, winds, and fire.

One who is disorderly and esthetic, and One who alters reality.

I am a Witch,

I am a Witch,

I am a Witch.

I am a Witch,

I am a Witch,

I am a Witch.

As I Will it, So Mote It Be....

Transitions

I will fly through the air as the dove. Soaring through clouds. Alighting on tree tops. Gliding in the wind.

I will run through the forest as the unicorn. A mythical beast, hiding from the unknowing, the uncaring, the uninitiated. I will choose who I bless with my presence. Giving magick to those who are worthy.

I will sleep in the sweet underbrush as the deer. I will awaken each morn with the smell of the earth, and the kiss of the sun. I will greet each day with gladness, eating of the sweet new grass, and the fresh berries.

I will walk the nights as the bear. I will follow the moonlit paths, marking the trees with my claws as I pass. I will stand on my hind legs and roar at the Moon. A greeting to Her beauty and Her fullness.

I will be free.

I will express my true nature.

I will be what I am---

A Witch.

"Beauty of a Woman"

The beauty of a woman

Is not in the clothes she wears,

The figure that she carries,

Or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman

Must be seen from in her eyes,

Because that is the doorway to her heart,

The place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman

Is not in a facial mole,

But true beauty in a woman

Is reflected in her soul.

It is the caring that she lovingly gives,

The passion that she shows,

And the beauty of a woman

With passing years -- only grows!

Dance as if no one were watching;

sing as if no one were listening;

and live everyday as if it were your last.

 - Irish proverb

To You From Me

To you who said I am nothing

Will be nothing and will achieve nothing

I say thank you

To you who said I was too fat

Too ugly and would always be alone

I say thank you

To you who said being gay was wrong

and that I would go to hell

I say thank you

To you whose soul purpose is

to put down and discourage

I say thank you

I say thank you because

You gave me the

Strength to succeed

I say thank you because

I found beauty within myself

I say thank you because

I can be the way God made me

I say thank you because I am somebody

That is admired and respected

To you

Thank you for everything

From me

God's Child, with Love Always

My Friends

What they want, they get.

Will I ever be able to say no?

When they want something, should I say no?

They are my friends.

They act so different when I say no.

They get so mad when I say no.

Is this manipulation?

I should say so.

I know they are manipulating me.

So why do I let them do it?

I don't want to be without friends.

I don't want to be lonely.

I am tired of doing what they ask me to do.

I do it even when I don't want to.

When will they stop manipuating me?

I'll tell you when, when I stop letting them.

Love is the only flower that grows and blossoms without the aid of the seasons.

Nature's way is to diminish excess and replenish deficiency to ensure a balance. Society should abide by nature's way to ensure social harmony.

Meditations on the Mortal Soul & Immortality

I am. I am alive. I exist here and now. Walking home, I displace molecules of air. People move to avoid walking through me. I exist in a space that no one else takes up. I have a body that breathes, consumes, eliminates, and excretes. I have a brain which occasionally spews words of some small worth to me and those who may encounter them. I have a voice which rises in song on the busy streets or in the privacy of home. My song changes the atmosphere of the world. I breathe. I inhale. I exhale. My breath is the fluttering of a butterfly's wings that changes destiny. I act, though my sphere of influence is small. When I end, people may not remember me. But the world will know I have been. But for me, those people would have kept a straight course on the sidewalk. But for me, there would have been silence in the moonlight on a May night. But for me, those molecules of oxygen would have nourished another set of lungs. I am here. I will not stay. Existence is finite. Mine will cease one day. But the ripples of my existence will stretch unto infinity. -
