1.Be Careful What You Do~The first rule is a warning to think through any spell or magickal working so that it works as intended and does not harm or interfere with any other persons individuality. So think before you perform any magickal work.
2.Be Careful Who You Trust~I can not express this enough. Your Craft name can be used against you, by another witch who doesn't follow the white path and who you might just tick off. I have two Craft name. One I go by that you all know, but I have a Craft name that only I know, no one else. This I use to perform my spells, etc. The Craft name that is used in the presence of others of like and mind should not be used as your working name, so when you do spells, and other magick, create a second Craft name not known to others, keep it secret my dears. The secrecy also adds to the power of your magick and protects you from harm, from another in the Craft.
3.DO NOT USE YOUR POWER To Hurt Another Because What Is Sent Comes Back~I can not say this strongly enough to you. I have seen powers coming back to harm the spell caster to many times. Some who write me, want a guy so badly that they do not care about the return. Want revenge so badly they do not care about the harm they cause to others or themselves later. As long as they get what they wish. Believe me a man or woman isn't worth the price of you getting the negative spell you cast, coming back to you. Some feel the negative reaction they will get returned is worth it, to get who or what they want. It's not. For remember you will get it 10 times worse then they.
4.Never Use The Power Against Someone Who Has The Power~For you not only get your power or gift as I like to think of it, from the same God & Goddess etc. For the witch, the ties of kinship is not blood but spirit. We are all brothers and sisters in the eyes of the Goddess and God. And some are more powerful then you(though you might not know this)We are all brothers and sisters in the Craft. And family does not harm family. You MUST respect other witches of the path as you respect the Craft. Harm None.
5.To Use The Power You Must Feel It In Your Heart And Know It In Your Mind The power is something that you must believe in. In your heart & soul. Questioning yourself or magickal work is something no one needs in his or her working. Doubts will just make your spell weaker, you must believe in what you are doing. I knew someone that no matter what she did. Her spells never worked. Why? She did not believe in the Craft, herself or what she was doing. She has since left the Craft. So believe in yourself, believe in the Craft and believe in magick.
