THE WAGNER CAT COUNTY ROADEO 2008



The roadeo was held at the Colorado State Fair Budweiser Rodeo Arena, It was a good day to travel to Pueblo for the State Roadeo Competion. I left early in the morning heading over Berthoud pass and arrived in Pueblo at 9:00 when competition was to start. My mom Marty and cousins Danette and Daughter Daniela were there to see the competition. A complemetary lunch of Burgers, soda, chips and cookies were given to the competitors and our guest. Last year I placed 1st, but this year was a little more difficult I didn't do so good. It was fun to have competed and look forward to going again. I have met some great friends.

The events that we had to do were in some of our daily duties operating the motorgrader. From ditching (knocking the tennis ball off its stand) to blue blocking manuvering the blade to hit the ball and not touch the ground. There was dunking the ball in barrel. the cul de sac, slicing a boiled egg. and wing drop. All being being timed. It was fun. Met some good friends.





THE GRAND COUNTY FAIR 2007

August 10 2007 Grand County sponsored a Demolition Derby. I was able to drive the car that was prepared by one of our own county employees. I ended up taking 2nd place. It was alot of banging around and fun.
