John served as a 68H20 in the Army. In 1
year of service, he attained the rank of
SP5/E5. He began a tour of duty on
March 31, 1967.

On February 20, 1968, at the age of 22,
John perished in the
service of our country in South Vietnam,
Phu Yen.
