Happy Birthday to Ryan! It was his 21st this past weekend. Thanks to Tiffany, Mike, and Josh for letting us trash your house. We had a blast. Although I fucked up my knee falling down the stairs and doing other stupid drunk things it was a great party. But anyway, were playing our first show in 3 months this friday at the ogden theatre and on Saturday were playing in Laramie, WY. I can't tell you how excited we all are. This is the longest we've ever gone without playing so please come check out our new songs live. We also have new t-shirts which have our name spelled Iron Maiden style. They are sweeeeeet. Once again thanks to everyone who helped us kill 3 kegs on saturday and we'll see you all soon! Here's what I've been listening to lately:

Bad Astronaut-Acrophobic
Children Of Bonam-Something Wild(METAL!!)
Drowning Man-Rock N Roll Killing Machine
Face to Face-Reactionary
Propagandhi-Todays Empires, Tomorrows Ashes
Snoop Dogg-Tha Last Meal Biatch

Today is great day for qualm. Not really. We'll probably get drunk and probably wish we were snowboarding. But nooooooooooooooo we have to fucking work. Right on dood. We moved out of our practice space this past weekend and are fixing up a room at ryans house to practice at. It will be nice to rock arvada again. But we certainly will miss finding bottles of piss spilt all over the floor from pinhead circus at our old practice space. Stupid HumIn Tricks is back together and are now sharing the practice space with Pinhead Circus. Thier drummer sucks. Don't forget about the Fairlanes CD release show on march 9th at the Ogden Theatre. The gamits will be playing too. Virgil is holding a contest for the opening band. If you want your band to play this show e-mail virgil at order@suburbanhomerecords.com. And tell him which band you want to play the show. The band that gets the most e-mail votes will open up the show. He's already received about 50 e-mails already so get on it!! Dan'! s in mexico right now pimping all dem senoritos. Qualm in Mexico represent represent sent. Pimp Pimp Hooray. Bling Bling. And all that other bitch ass trick shiggity shit. I don't give a fuck about shit anymore. When it comes to happiness I look to the bottle of everclear. hahahajhahahahahahahajhdkaxfkj;lkjlknjhbdqshgdasgasgdaskjshkdhbsaaskjgdgdkgasdgadskjgdasbgkdaskjfd;kj. We have a really big show comming up in April but I can't say who it is until it's confirmed but it will be cool. One of our biggest shows to date. We love you all, your all special except Raymond Scibblidge. Check out Raymonds new show on UPN 20 on Fridays at 2:00am "Temptation Short Bus" Bye Bye

Hallo, we are jumping for joy today, because tomorrow we shall take part in practice time. Ryan can now do several things with his left arm. One being that he can play guitar, two he can spank him and his significant others off at the same time while watching the simpsons and not miss a thing!! Damn ryan! We received a lot of letters/e-mails concerning ryans colarbone and he thanks everybody for there concern. Our next show will be on March 9th at the ogden theatre with The Gamits and The Fairlanes. It's the fairlanes CD release show and there new stuff is great. Be sure to be there cause it's our first show this year!!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy new year! Unfortunetly we did not. Ryan broke his collar bone on sunday while snowboarding. This means we won't be playing tonight at the bluebird theatre nor will we be practicing/writting/playing for at least a month, maybe two. Ryan is doing fine. He's on lots of pain killers and is getting lots of rest to insure a good recovery. This is a terrible way to start the new year but things will change for the best. Sorry in advance to anyone who comes out tonight to see us and we don't play. There wasn't enough time to get the word out. In the meantime if anyone wants to write him, his e-mail is vertebreaker13@hotmail.com. I'm sure he would love to hear from somebody. Take care of yourselfs and check back every so often to see what's up and when we will be playing next. Thanks for everything.
Justin/qualm

Holy Shit!! What a great month this has been for us. Every show has been nothing but positive. Thanks to everyone for making the end of this year so special. Thanks to the kids in conifer for doing more singing than us, and the kids in wyoming for going off and showing alot of support. I can't explain the feeling we all get when people show they care. Thanks to Casey for hooking us up with the show in Casper, WY. We had a little trouble getting up there. I-25 was closed and we ended up at a gas station for about 3 hours waiting for the highway to open up again. The wind was terrible. We almost hit a rail and got into an accident. But Pinhead Circus, The Eyeliners and us all made it there safely and in time!! What a great show. We're all taking this weekend off to spend time with family for christmas but we'll be playing again next weekend at the 15th st. Tavern, The Cat(the new venue up the street from the Raven), and the Bluebird Theatre. Hope to see you at a show!! This is great ending to a shitty year for all of us. I can't thank everybody enough. Have a safe holiday and I'll post more news next year!! See Ya
Justin/qualm
PS The new Sick of it All album rules!

12/11/00

Thanks to everyone who came to conifer to see us! That was one of the best shows we've played in awhile. Thanks to everybody that sang along. It means A WHOLE LOT to us. We will definetly be comming back there soon. We're playing casper this saturday. We shall see what the casper scene is like once again! That's about it. See ya!
Justin

Hi. The Gamits were back briefly over the weekend. Chris had a little get-together at his house on sunday night with the Teen Idols and a bunch of friends. They just left for tour again today so we hope the best for them! Unfortunetly that night my car was broken into at the bowling alley we all go to every thursday night. About 40 of my CD's and my CD player were stolen. That really pisses me the fuck off. I've never understood what makes people do such fucked up stuff like that. Especialy this time of year when EVERYBODY is tight on money. But anyway, friday's show was fun. Thanks to sean for playing jake jabbs with us. We haven't played that song in awhile and it was fun to make that the last song to played at the raven. Suckers. Depature(which features ex-sirr issac lyme boys) played really well. I can't wait to see them again. They were very good. Check them out next time you see a flyer or something. We're playing at some community center this friday in the mountains som! ewhere. None of us have talked to anybody about this show! Justin from Deadlock Frequency just showed up at my house with a flyer saying, "check it out were playing with you again". I stared laughing but then realized that he wasn't kidding and that someone had made flyers already without asking us to play. But lucky for whoever that is, we can play the show. So come up to the rocky mountains if you got the freaking time on friday. We might be playing in Casper on the 16th but it's not for sure. Pinhead Circus will be playing up there that night so I'll probably go up there with them and party casper style no matter what. Even if we don't play. So there dick. Ummmmmm Oh yeah were playing a bar show on the 29th with our friends the Dropskots at the 15ht st Tavern. WE WILL NOT BE MAKING A HABIT OF THIS SO DON'T FREAK OUT ON US!! We play 21 and over shows every once and awhile. We just like to play damnit so leave us alone! And we play the 30th at the new replacement of the raven; THE CAT. Busy month. I hope we have time to do some writing!!
What I've been listening to lately:
NOTHING! I DON'T HAVE A CD PLAYER TO LISTEN TO MUCH RIGHT NOW!! FUCK YOU CAR THIEVES!!!
Justin/qualm

11/20/00

Well, well, well. Where to begin, our shows in Wyoming and Idaho are now canceled. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST DOES THE CANCELATION OF SHOWS EVER END! Ahhhhh I feel better now. We have been doing some serious writting lately. I think that all of us are going to die at like 40 because we're all going through a mid-life crisis right now but fuck it, ya know? I guess when you've been together this long it just makes things harder, but better at the same time. Just call us qualm-90210 Things just keep getting more complicated. I received loads of shit on the Denver Punk Page message board by some guy named andrew recently about how I'm a pussy for apologizing(that can't be spelled right is it?) to the guy I hit with a microphone stand. If you ever want a good laugh check out all the things this guy posts on the message board and just see for yourself what an idiot/bigot/womanizer/jock/XstraightedgeX/moron this guy is. He claims he's been suporting the local scene for a very long time and has been through it all. Anyway enough talking shit I really don't want to stoop to his level. The show on December 1st should be lots of fun. When is the last time you saw 5 day messiah, huh buddy? Dan just got a new set of drums from Drum City Guitar land and boy are they tough. They're baby blue fish scale looking things. PURE EVIL. Beware of the Porkpie drum set fuckers. I have been having writers block with lyrics lately. Not that my lyrics are the most creative works of art but I have alot of shit to say but I just can't seem to word it correctly. So fuck you ass-licker. I think that our new album will be loads of shit. Loads of donkey shit on a bun with relish. Right now as I'm typing this; the song "loser" by beck is on the radio. I really like hearing this better than blink-182. Because at least this guy is honest about being a loser where as blink-182 are losers but are soaking up all there fame thinking they're the shit right now. I couldn't really imagine what it would be like to be that big. Could it possibly be fun? Being idolized by millions of little girls who's parents bring them to your sold out arena shows, that's fun? Hmmmm interesting. To sum up the news, qualm is in limbo right now writting new shit and drinking lots of alcohol since dan and I just turned 21. We have the same damn birthday. Ok enough jabber. Here's what I've been rocking latetly
Swingin' Utters-S/T
Black Eyed Peas-Bridging the Gap
Millencolin-Pennybridge Pioneers
Subhumans-Incorrect Thoughts(with there first singer!)
Jugheads Revenge-13 Kiddie Favorites
At the Drive In-Realationship of command
Samiam-Astray(I can't stop listening to these guys!)

10/31/00

Happy Halloween!! We had a great time last friday at The Facet's last show. It was sad to see them go but they definetly went out with a bang! Speaking of bangs, I got a little crazy and threw my mic stand into the crowd and banged another guy named Justin in the head. I apologized and hooked him up with every possible merchendise item we had. He was very cool about it. Thanks Justin!! Unfortunetly we are canceling our fall tour. Strung Out will be recording for thier new album when we had the show booked with them. Jake from Strung Out apologized and we're going to try to do the show in December instead. We'll see what happens. We will still be doing a show in Casper, WY and a show in Idaho. No local shows at this time so back to writing the new CD. Check out the punk rock flea market on November 11th. qualm will have a booth there selling all of our stuff along with a bunch of used records and CD's we don't want anymore. Rob has quite a few rare LP's but I'm not sure if he's willing to sell them or not. I'll have to talk to him. Anyway, take it easy and check the shows section every so often to see when were playing next, thanks!!
Justin

10/24/00

We decided there was to little time to learn enough Dead Kennedys songs to make the show worth it. We canceled that show and are now back to writting. We've all been very busy with things outside of the band. Me, Dan, and Rob all moved to new places this past month. So stress levels have been high. I just realized that us and pinhead circus and the clusterfux are the only bands still around since 1995. That's fucked up. I want to just give a shout out to all the bands/friends we used to play with through out the past years......Mailorder Children, Messyhairs, Crestfallen, Sirr Isaac Lyme, Four, Son Of Sam, and many others. But starting this Friday, The Facet will be playing there last show. We know how hard it is to keep bands going for personal or musical differences. It's really really hard. We miss/or will miss all of you and won't forget all the good and bad times we all shared together. Please come to the show on Friday night to see the Facet's last show. It will be a hard thing to say goodbye to but we will party like crazy!!!!
See you there,
Justin/

10/2/00

We moved into our new practice space yesterday. It's 5 blocks away from the raven so that kicks ass. We're sharing the space with pinhead circus to make rent cheaper. It's pretty fucking spectacular. This friday and saturday are the first shows we will play since august. We will be playing a couple of new ones and such. Actualy we did kind of play this last friday at ryans house in a drunken haze in front of like 30 people, but it was cool. Especialy naked hot-tubbing!! Ryan has a nice penis. Anyway, Tony hawk 2 is out now and I shall be stuck to my couch every night for a long time. Thanks for buying that Kristin. Here's a little list of what I've been listening to lately:
At The Drive In-Relationship of Command
Black Eyed Peas-S/T
Red Hot Chilli Peppers-Californication
Refused-The Shape of Punk to Come
Hardcore Punk Vol 1
Subhumans-Rats/Time flies
Dead Kennedys-Give me convinence...
The Force-I don't like you either
Samiam-Astray
Still Left Standing-???
Nofx-Pump up the Valuum

9/22/00

On halloween we will be at the Bluebird Theatre performing Dead Kennedys songs. We'll be working for only 4 short weeks on getting as many songs merorized as possible. It will be fun! Rumor has it that another local band may be doing Black Flag. There will be more details when I find out. Hope to see everyone there singing along! Also come check out the show on October 6th at the Raven. Alot of new bands are playing that night so check out what's new in your colorado scene!
Qualm

9/12/00

Started working on our tour yesterday. I haven't done this in years. It's really a pain in the ass to book a solid tour. But we always have fun anyway so no worries. I finaly got my amp back from this shop that it's been at for like a month and a half. Slowest repair shop I've ever been to. CHRIST!! We have about 4 new songs written and we still got more to do. No real important stuff here. A couple of shows comming up. One at the raven and one at the starlight. So cum check us out. There are a bunch of new pictures up in the picture section. Alot from tour and some from our show at the fox a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to sean for taking those pictures with his new fancy camera. You kick ass sean. Your penis is no match to any others. Your hair smells like roses and your balls are never sweaty. Sean, you are the light in qualm's life, you are the morning wood I like to stroke. And Sean, you are qualm. Eat alot of fruit and vegtables or your going to hell.

Peace
satan/qualm

Writting lots and lots and lots and lots. We finaly found a place to practice in downtown Denver. We've been practicing at Ryan's house for the time being. We have about 4 new songs and we're still working on more. I can't descibe what the hell we've been writting because even to us it sounds very different. We're very excited to start recording for the new CD/LP. Of course this won't happen until early next year. NO confirmed shows as of right now but we're not complaining becuase we needed the break. We're a bunch of wussy's. We're planning on leaving in late November for a short tour on the west coast. Things arn't confirmed but it looks like we're playing with Strung Out in California on December 1st. More details on the tour as soon as I get them. The punk rock flea market has been moved to October 21st. We will not be playing because I'll be in Wisconsin visiting my family. But make sure you check that out cause it will be cool. We've been doing some talking about being ! the Dead Kennedy's for halloween this year. As you may or may not know, we were Metallica last year and it was alot of fun but also alot of work. We'll let you know more when we decide what we feel comfortable doing. In the meantime have fun and get ready for the fucking snowboard season, it's only 2 months away!!!!!!
Bye Bye
Justin
PS What the hell is up with blink-182? MTV Video award?

8/23/00

The last last two weeks we're packed full of shows. Thanks if you made it out to see us. We won't be playing again until the end of september. Virgil(suburbanhome records) will be holding a punk rock flea market at the ogden theatre and we'll be playing later in the afternoon with other locals. More details on that show as soon as I get them. We're in the process of finding a new place to practice and writting new songs for our next CD. If you know of anywhere to practice please e-mail me. That's about it, thanks for all the continued support. The new EP is doing really well and it's all thanks to you people that actualy care. I can't thank you enough. Here's what Dan has been listening to lately:
Ignite-A Place called Home
Weezer-Weezer
Swingn' Utters-Streets of San Francisco
Pantera-Vulgar Display of Power

Peeeeeeeeeeace izout

Busy as usual. Dan and I are little babys and got into a 13 year old argument last saturday, but all is well and we've grown back up to 20 again. It's very hard to be in a band with three of your best friends. Cause it's hard to acecpt change sometimes. We've all agreed that we will never replace anybody in the band cause it wouldn't be the same, that makes it hard too. But it also brings us closer, as like a family. Ahhhhhhhhh Are you going to puke yet? Anyway, the show last sunday with the weakerthans and misunderstood was alot of fun, everything went ok. But at the Unwritten Law show well..... First of all, I hate big venues. The staff that run those places are so used to dealing with rock stars that they cop an attitude toward the "smaller" bands. Unwritten Law and Lefty are FAR from rock stars. Yeah they may have huge tour buses, but who cares! Unwritten Law thanked us for playing with them! What's up with that? That was the nicest thing any headlining band has ever said ! to us! Very, very friendly. So thanks to them for being so cool. But here's the deal. Us and Unwritten Law drank all the beer that the fox gave us before we even played. So once we were done playing I thought it would be nice of us to go down to the liquor store and pick up a case for everybody. So we did and brought it back down to the fridge of the backstage area. No big deal right? WRONG! The secong that the "stage manager" found out he yelled at us. Telling us that we could make them lose there liquor license and that we've abused our "privlage" of playing there. Kicked us all out of the show, against Unwritten Law word. They were pissed off at the fox staff also. We had no idea that was a bad thing to do. We were just trying to be friendly with everybody. Fuck the fox, fuck boulder, and fuck big venues who are more concerned about losing money than treating the bands with resprect. We were told "We can find another opening act, we don't need bands like you who fuck around and jepordize our money. Now get the fuck out of here." Pretty cool huh? Anyway, back to reality. I just thought I share with you people what I've been listening to lately. Here goes.
Samiam-Billy
Samiam-Ashtray(not out until August 29th, it's so good!)
Anchor-5 song EP
Perfect Circle-Mer De Norms
Ignite-Place Called Home
Deftones-White Pony
Strung Out-Elememnt Of Sonic Defiance
Dr. Dre-Chronic 2001(I'm not kidding yo)
Modest Mouse-I forgot the title
Dwarves-Come Clean

Crestfallen was the best show we've played since we played with them 4 years ago. Everybody was so into it and everyone knew the words from the new CD. Thanks to all who wore pink and was in on the joke we had with pinhead circus. Don't wear tight kids small shirts, they hurt. Our next show is with the weakerthans(ex-propagandhi) on sunday. If you can't make it you can watch it live on the web at http://www.digitalclubnetwork.com. It will be our first live web cast and we're all pretty excited about it. So definetly check it out if you can. Check the shows section for all other upcomming shows. Hope to see you there!! ITS SOOOOOOO GOOD TO BE BACK HOME IN COLORADO. BE PROUD OF WHERE YOU LIVE!!

7/25/00

Well well well, we survived our 3rd tour. Pinhead circus taught us alot about putting up with shit that happens as this tour was quite an adventure. With everything from throwing piss bombs at eachothers vans, to matt our rodie spranging his ankle really bad. I'm going to write a day to day event list of all that happened on our tour and let you guys read that instead of me rambling forever on the news list. We're playing with crestfallen this friday at the raven. Oh yeah Pinhead Circus is the blue team and we're the pink team. We have a war going between us so everyone should come to the show wearing pink on friday!! We're also playing with the weakerthans which is the new band with the old bass player from propagandhi on the 6th of august. See you soon!!!

6/15/00

The new EP Preventing explosion is now at all stores(that sell local shit) and available direct from Not Bad Records. So far it's doing really well and people keep telling me they like it way better than our first CD. GOOD! So we leave for tour in 3 weeks and boy is there sooooooooo much stuff to get taken care of. Ryan and I took out loans so we could get rock star equiptment and look like blink-182. Since that's why we started this band in the first place. I don't know where I would be without blink. There sooo cute too. oops I talked shit again. Anyway I just want to thank my girlfriend Kristin for being my own personal psychiatrist(I'm sure I spelled that wrong). I have ten days to move out and find a new place as soon as we get back form tour which pretty much sucks. I freaked out last night and she calmed me down. This has nothing to do with the band does it? AHHHHHHHHHH LASLALALALALLALAL There, maybe I'll just use the news section as a place to vent all my frustration out on you folk who actualy take the time to read this shit. If you don't have the new EP, get it!! It's only 6 dollars and it's a little teaser as to what will happen next with us. When we get back were planning on writting as much as possible and are planning on recording another full length by the end of this year!! So a new full length in early 2001. Either that or Rob will join the circus as an clown who gives 40 year old's blow jobs, Dan will join the army and fight for this CUNTry we all love, Ryan will become a scientist and invent a cure for AIDS or just make AIDS worse, and I'll move to Africa to play bongo drums for one of my African tribes. Later

Although I hardly remember June 2nd at all, the CD release show was a blast. I was supprised at the response and how quickly the CD's we're gone. To everyone who made it out that night:Thank you, it was a special night. The limited CD's came out way better than all of us expected. If you didn't get one, sorry the real ones will be here either today or tomorrow. They will be in stores starting June 12th, and you can get them at our show on Friday June 9th. Check the shows page for details. Ryan and I beat the hell out of our vans bummer last night with a blow torch and a sledge hammer. In november at the strung out show Ryan decided it would be ok to back into a telephone pole and the next night I thought it would be ok to back it into a parking meter thus causing the bummber to block one of the back doors from opening. We fixed that problem but have many more to face before we hit the road with Pinhead. NO COAST DEATH SQUAD TOUR 2000 BIATCH!!! By the way I've noticed a huge increase in local bands lately. And a big majority of them are really good. I've gotten alot of good demo CD's/Cassettes and I can't wait to start seeing these bands live. If you are in a band please send me demos!! It's so cool to have so many good bands around these days. I'm willing to help as much as I can. I'd love to start playing with NEW bands. That's about it!

Well after all this rushing to get the new CD out in time, it' all got fucked up. The pressing plant screwed up the art work 3 times and still can't make the deadline. But here's what we're gonna do. We can still get the actual CD's from the pressing plant but not any of the art work. So we're going to release only 50 CD's at our release show with somewhat different art work. Most of them will be thrown out into the crowd during the show and the rest will be sold for $3 dollars until the real CD's come out the following week. I want to apologize in advance to anyone who doesn't get one on friday and wanted one. Not Bad Records had nothing to do with the screw up of the CD's not being ready. We are all pretty pissed off but are trying to make the best of a shitty situation. The real show will probably be on June 10th at the spot but we still have to see if we can get the venue. So June 2nd will still be the release show but get there early if you want a copy of the new songs cause only 50 limited covers will be available. It will still be an awsome show. See you this friday!!!
Justin

5/15/00

We're starting to get ready for our tour with Pinhead Circus. Just got our van somewhat fixed but it still needs more work. Thanks to this thing called money that isn't going to happen until the last minute but oh well. The link 80 show was funny because talking shit to ska crowds is a lot of fun to do. I strongly suggest that you try it. Our new CD will be available on June 2nd at the Raven. We're playing with Pinhead Circus, Turned Down, Missing 23rd, and Fallshort. Fallshort are a new local band and the oldest is 17 years old. They kick so much ass so make sure you get to the show early so you can check them out. We will have shirts/girlie shirts at our release show finally. And that's about it. Oh yeah there is this REALLY COOL, REAL PUNK ROCK, NOT THAT STUPID NEW SCHOOL SHIT, PUNK BAND in denver called Fourth Yeer Freshman. I just want to thank them for wishing rectal warts on us and Still Left Standing on there 7inch record. These guys support the scene and are doing something VERY positive. Please buy there 7inch and check out there web site at Http://members.tripod.com/~crass187/index.html. Thanks and see you all at the release show June 2nd!!!

A big thanks to Ryan Philbrick. He stayed up all night last night making the cd art.I wussed out, but I've only had about two hours of sleep and I'm at work and it sucks. But the cover and everything else look sooooo good. The name of the EP is called Preventing Explosion. The release is Friday June 9th at the Raven!! So tell everyone you know!! I'm not sure who else will be playing this show but I think this band called Crash 81 from Houston, TX will be there. We're also happy to announce that Pinhead Circus will be taking us on the road starting July 5th. We will be all over the mid-west and east coast spreading the word of the No Coast Death Squad!!!!!! Thanks to Scooter for booking the tour and always being there to help us out. That's about it. Still playing alot with qualm and Stupid HumIn Tricks so hopefuly I'll see you soon!!! Peace the fuck out, I need more caffine AHHHHHHHHHHH
Justin

4/04/00

We are busy, busy, busy!!! We have moved all of our equipment to boulder and are now practicing there. Sharing the space with Stupid Humin Tricks and 5 Day Messiah. We just finished mastering all the new songs for the CD. The names of the six songs are Preventing Explosion, Sit and Drink, Take Care, Just Fine, Anthem of What?, and Mr. Wedgle. We are very happy with how it came out. I can't stress that enough. I hope everyone who's familiar with us will enjoy it as much as our older stuff. It should be out at the end of May as scheduled. We are still working on all the art and insert stuff. As usual we take forever at that. We have tons of shows comming up. I'm sure we'll see alot of new faces because were playing at a bunch of new venues with a bunch of new bands. April will definetly be an "expanding or destroying our audience" month. Hope to see you at one of our shows.
Justin/qualm

3/9/00

We had a great weekend on the 3rd through the 5th of March. Ryan turned 20, we played the Gamits CD release, which by the way was a perfect example of how cool our scene is. 4 local bands at the Raven and the place is packed to it's fullest!!!! Thanks for the never ending support. I didn't break my guitar in two, and the show at the bluebird was empty but we still, as always, had fun playing. Plus it was cool to see our friends File 4 again. If you haven't seen or heard them, definetly check them out. We're still working on idea's for the artwork of our CD/EP which we plan to have out by May. If any of you have any ideas let me know. And if any of you see us play any of our new songs or have already heard some of our new songs, let us know what you think. peace out in the double o's bitches and keep up all the support we've seen recently. We love every minute of it.
Thanks again

We finished recording our 6 new songs yesterday and all I have to say is that Matt Van Lueven is the shit!! 8 Houses is the best studio in Colorado no matter what those people in Ft. Collins think about the Blasting Room. Anyway, unfortunetly it will not be a split with Dig Doug from St. Louis. They recently have had yet another line-up change and also decided to change there name to Too Young The Hero. So we decided we will release it as a CD/EP instead. I'm sure you will see a release from Too Young The Hero on Not Bad Records sometime in the near future. We are really happy with how everything turned out. I think alot of people will be surprised at some of the changes we've made since our CD "Put Er' There" I hope that the changes are for the better cause we definetly think so. Hope to see everyone on March 4th for the Gamits release show. There new album is soooooooooooooooooooooooo good and everyone will like it unless they're retarted bitches who eat midget poo. That is all for now. The new CD/EP will available sometime in May. I can't wait!! Questions/comments please e-mail me at: JMonnkey@aol.com.
Thanks!

Hi. The show last friday at the Raven was alot of fun. Thanks to everybody that came out. It was so cool to see a great mix of music and people. And everyone got along so good! Unfortunetly I threw a temper tantrum cause I hate my guitar and smashed it to shit. I went guitar shopping the next day and got a much better one anyway. So fuck Ibanez RG's!!! We were delayed in our recording but we start today for sure. We should be done with our new six songs by the end of the week. As far as what it's comming out as................we'll have to wait and see.
Bye-Bye retards

Thanks to everyone who came out to the show on January 7th at the spot. As far as playing the show, we haven't had that much fun at a show since our CD release show last Febuary. So thanks to everyone who sang along, blocked people from getting my teeth knocked out, and danced their asses off. But moments after we were done playing someone had stolen around 150 dollars of our CD money. So a big FUCK YOU to whoever decided it would be ok to take money that we work hard at earing from us. We are very broke and are still trying to pay off our van and Not Bad Records. I hope that person dies. Later that evening we went back to Dan's house to find that his house had been broken into. So alot of his personal things were stolen. We were supposed to play at the Bug Theatre the next night but Dan didn't want to leave his house. I don't blame him. So were sorry to anyone who came out January 8th to see us, but people are obviously fucking with us and we needed a break to calm down from all the drama that's happened this past weekend. On a happier note, we're still writting alot of new songs and we will be playing most of them on January 28th at the Raven with Still Left Standing, the Votls and the Clusterfux. I hope the Clusterfux don't kill us cause we're a "Pop Punk" band. Either way it should be an awsome show and we hope to see you all there. I now have access to my aol e-mail address so I can respond to your questions/comments quicker now. My e-mail is JMonnkey@aol.com so feel free to write anytime!

The Straight Faced show has been cancelled because they chose to record a new album instead of tour so don't show up to the bluebird. But do show up the the show at the raven the same night(January 28th) cause it will be a great local show with us, Still Left Standing and The Volts. If you haven't heard The Volts yet, your in for a good suprise. Ex-Blacklist member JR always puts on an amazing live show. On the January 7th, The Facet and 5 Day Messiah will be playing with us at the spot to help benifit Anti-Racist Action in Denver. So even if you think all the bands suck, you should stop by and help out to get rid of racist dickheads. That's about it, we start recording for our new CD January 29th!!! As always, feel free to e-mail me or call or whatever.

Hi there
We here in qualm land have been very busy lately. In October we did the monsters of mock show. We played the role as Metallica(thanks to everyone who showed up and sorry they made the under 21 people sit on the balcony). Which wasn't exactly the funnest thing to learn. At first it seemed like it would be easy but the more we screwed up at practice the more frustrating it got. Anyway the show turned out to be a blast and as always we had alot of fun. We have a couple shows comming up. December 17th at "The Place" which is a really cool coffee shop in littleton. Pinhead Circus will be there also and the show is FREE!! Can't beat that you stingy bastards. If you need to know how to get there check out the Denver Punk Page. I'm also in two other bands at the moment, Stupid HumIn Tricks and Western Waste. Both of those bands will be playing the next night (18th) at Monkey Mania with the Facet and Hostile Intent. We are also playing the 28th at the Bluebird theatre with Straight Faced and Shogun. That will be alot of fun because were not hardcore and were not straight edge and the O's will definetly be on my hands that night(if you know what I mean). I love both of those bands so fuck you. I'm also very happy to say that we have been doing nothing but writting new songs the last month. After the Straight Faced show we will be heading back to the studio to record 6 or 7 new songs. It will be for our split CD/LP with the band Dig Doug from St. Louis. Dig Doug helped us out on tour and are the nicest people we met on the road. I'd also like to say hi to Carrie and Angie in St. Louis who let us stay at her house for three nights!! So I'm really stoked about this release. It will be released on the almighty Not Bad Records. That's it for now. If you have any questions about anything, getting shows, about the band, about the scene, about my dog's vagina, ANYTHING. Please feel free to write me, I love to get mail. Thanks again and rock out with your cock out(being that your a guy).
