False Gospels

This is a list of some false Gospel, that we don‘t usually think about. But they are important. Is your pastor or bishop preaching the real Gospel?? This taken from a seminar by evangelist York Moore (some is paraphrased by me). More coming soon.

Materal- listic Gospel	Life is purposeless w/o the additional relationship with Jesus Christ. Life lacks joy, fulfillment, and direction and needs directon by Jesus. We living like a car with no gas.	Profess Jesus as your personal Savior. Begin to live your with Jesus as your partner and guide. Attend church, bible study, concerts and read Christian books. Engross yourself in the Christian culture.	No real change is necessary. Incorporate Jesus into your existing plans. Enjoy all the material blessings this life has to offer. *Jesus never told us not to have fun.	A false sense of security. No repentance=no salvation. * Concerned to much with possession and prestige. * Guilt from sin is replaced by material possesion *Christ is on the outside thus irrelevant.
Social Gospel	Ignorance, racism and greed has brought about oppression. Those in control of the money abuse their power and possession. *We participate in oppression when we’re silent and content with current system and practices.	* Christ came to lead us in life of equality and social justice. He was a social liberator. Realize you’re a victim and look to Jesus as the great liberator. Jesus resurrection enables the Church to move forward to bring about social justice.	* Join a church, political party, that brings about positive change. *Become a active part of pursuit of justice and social equality	* No repentance=no salvation. * Preoccupaton with the fallen world and fallen people as “the enemy” Activism is mistaken for holiness Jesus is on the outside and thus irrelevant
Moral Gospel	* The world is a bad place, full of bad people which I’m not fully apart. * People don’t care about right and wrong. Let’s get back to the basic	We need to show people we’re his children by obeying His laws, remaining pure and condemning the sin of our world. God told us what is right not only in the 10 Commandments but also in every world religion.	We need to do a lot good works Go to church, evangelize, pray, study the Bible Avoid contamination by association with the world Do good works	Depends on one’s ability to please God, instead of Jesus’ shed blood Basically another form of pride and making you immune to repentance. Since there’s no repentance there can be no forgiveness. Legalistic believers are n danger of the very flames of hell they preach about.
