Apparently, Gackt's life story is rather interesting...he says he nearly drowned in the Okinawa Sea and since then he claims that the souls of the deceased inhabit his body randomly. O_O; Apparently, his parents thought he was bonkers when he came downstairs one night, being inhabited by the ghost of a woman, saying "Help me" over and over.

At the age of 3 he was forced to learn to play the piano and he says he has never enjoyed playing it. Other instruments he has mastered include the drums, bass, guitar, and the horn.

He says that his parents were very strict on him while growing up. He was not allowed to watch television, save for educational shows and national news.

"when I look back on it I get really angry. I think that I could have killed them (his parents)."

Some of his favourite things include Italian wine, nightviews (a cityscape at night) and mineral water. His favourite nightview is on "Pom Pom Mountain". And he only takes his favourite people to see his nightviews.
