At first, I didn't like "Mirror" much. To me, it sounded a little bit too much Rockabilly than I was used to from Gackt. But over time, it grew on me like a fungus..as Gackt's work has a habit of doing. "Blue" is beautiful but what else is to be expected?
Oasis includes:
"Oasis" is a very nice song in my opinion. It has what I call an "ancient" sound. Meaning that Gackt crossed old-style Chinese/Japanese music with a light techno quality. It's very impressive to me how Gackt can change his style so dramatically and still keep the fans drooling for more. However, "Uncertain Memory" is my favourite song out of the whole lot. I'm not even sure why...you'll just have to listen!
While we're talking about his music, Gackt's first full solo album, "Mars" is scheduled for release in April I believe. The date has been pushed around so I'm not totally sure anymore. ^-^;;
In other news, Gackt has left his fanclub "Kissmark" and started another called "Dears". Out of kindness, Gackt says that former members of Kissmark may join Dears without paying the annual fee.
