Maria de los Angeles Franco Bauer

Born April 23, in Ponce Puerto Rico. Raised in Rochester, New York. She studied and worked as a legal secretary as well as part-time modeling until at the age of 19, she joined a volunteer organization known as The Family. She gave 16 fulltime years of her life to her beliefs and love for the Lord.

Native Puerto Rican, she married a German-American and was married 15 years and had 5 daughters. She passed on at age 35 after courageously and in full trust of her life to God fighting 6 years of sickness.

This dedication is made by her oldest daughter, Reina Beckman . My mom was and stays my greatest hero. Her love and dedication for the Lord and selflessness to others has left a legacy that I can only hope to live up to her ideals. And to make her proud as she looks down on me and my family. Her greatest assets were her fighting spirit and sincere love for others.

Her favoritie song was the "Prayer Of Saint Francis" and "Wither Shall I Go". She was a crazy, and a wonderful mother who did her best to not only teach, but become one with us. Her greatest desire was that we each establish a personal connection with the Lord, serving Him to our very best ability-whatever that may be, as well as with full understanding and trust that the Lord knew best and "Would perfect that which concerneth us".

"Dear Mom, as you look down on me, know that I think of you constantly. I miss you so much and wish you were closer at times, but I thank you for all that you left me in this wonderful memory I have of you and of your sample and of your unending love that stays deep in my heart. In anything good that is in me at present and all that hope to be in the future, know that you are a big part of it and an inspiration that keeps me going. ---I LOVE YOU!"
