Home Phoebe Swiss "They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament and they that turn many to righteousness, as the stars forever and ever."(Daniel 12:3) Phoebe was a sweet, humble sister always standing in the gap. Whether it was kitchen duty, or dishes, or witnessing, or child-care, Phoebe was there. She wasn't the kind of person that stood out in the crowd, she was pretty quiet. She did her jobs well and seldom did you hear a complaint. Phoebe had a sense of humor and we laughed together many times. I remember when she became sick. We were rooming together at that time and the disease started as what seemed like an allergy. Even though she was itching all over, Pheobe didn't make a big deal out of it. When she started taking chemotherapy and all her hair fell out, Phoebe was still Phoebe. She wasn't flashy or talkative, but when you needed to talk, Phoebe was there and she listened. She was a sweet simple girl who's soft spirit I will always remember. When she was once in charge of the kitchen in a large home, she taught me what she'd learned in cooking class at school. Together we joked about her Swiss way of trying to run a "perfect" kitchen. Impossible in a home of 80 people. She was in her early 30's when she went to be with the Lord sometime around 1999. God bless you, Phoebe, we love you and we know that everything is well with you now. Surely you are your little girl's guardian angel. We will meet again. He didn't hold anything against me, but He was so comforting. He said He would take care of Jessica (the daughter she left behind) and He showed me the angel that is guarding her. I feel so relieved and happy. My heart is overwhelmed to be in Heaven. I am already healthy and beautiful with long hair and the Lord gave me a beautiful body and my face is more round. I look healthy and beautiful. He said He likes me like this and He complimented me for being willing to be His wife. Keep fighting and trusting and going forth. close to our sweet Lord. Amazing Grace, shall always be my song of praise
For it was grace that brought me liberty
I do not know, just why He came to love me so
He looked beyond my fault and saw my need
I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary
To view the cross, where Jesus died for me
How marvelous, His grace that caught my falling soul
He Looked beyond my fault and saw my need.
