Anxiously awaiting him,
To feel his touch for the first time, to see his smile
A smile comes across my face as I hear the knock upon the door,
His arms wrap around me tight as that first hug seems to last forever
Our eyes locked upon one another,
Not knowing what to expect next
His lips lower to mine,
The kiss sending a wave of emotions I've never felt before
His hand takes mine,
Gentle and a feeling of being safe with him by my side
This moment, the beginning of so many new happy memories

She rolls over,
His eyes closed in a deep slumber
Lost in him, just smiling to herself,
Thinking of the nite they just spent together
The quiet dinner, the soft music,
