Morocco is a beautiful country with a
very diversified rich landscape. The sunny south with its deserts and
oases, lovely isolated sandy beaches, woods and seas, waterfalls of
single beauty (Ouzoud) and marvellous towns.
The people are very kind with a hospitality foreign to us. Many also
have found their great love there and live in Morocco. The life is cheap
there and one lives considerably more easily under the sun of the south.
Thanks to his favourable climate, more as 340 sunny days in the year, the
spa has developed into the biggest tourism centre of Morocco at the
Atlantic coast with his long sandy beaches.
Agadir isn't a typical
Moroccan town but one almost gets everything there to which one is
used as a European for his life. The medical supply is very good and
complies with the western standard.
The running connections to all parts of the country are good and are
aims to the most beautiful areas of the country reaching comfortably
from Agadir.
One also shouldn't forget the long and broad sandy beach in Agadir
which really invites to the sunbathe.
The hotels are moderate till very good depending on price range. One
can live very favourably or allow himself the luxury purely in Agadir.
The flight connection of Agadir is very good. The town is approached
by many European airports directly. Itself the flight connections are
but also good and cheap in the country. So one can reach much Moroccan
airports either in the direct flight or over Casablanca, the central
flight cross of Morocco.

Souk of Inezgane (approx. 10 km south of Agadir).
You can get to know the real life on the Souk of Inezgane in Morocco
on Tuesdays. They reach the settlement by cab best.
Taghazoute (19 km north of Agadir).
Known surfing area, fishing port and lovely sandy beach.

Surroundings
of Agadir
:
--> Immouzzer des Ida Outanane
(approx. 62 km of Agadir; 12 km of direction Tamri/Essaouira, junction
shortly before Tamrhakht, then approx. 50 km on a passable asphalt
road to up to Immouzzer). Immouzer des Ida Ouatane is a very idyllic
little place in the valley of the Ida Ouatane. The Berbers living
here like to sell petrified Fossils. Already the journey to the
place located 1160 m high is scenically extremely rewarding. They
reach Immouzer over the valley of the Asif Tamrhakht which is not
so unusual to beginning. But then, scenically overwhelmingly all
honour makes to its name. The street winds by a ravine cut deeply,
lined palm with Argan, banana and olive trees.
-->
Les Cascades
It walks for 4 km to the famous Cascades in a narrow street from
the place centre. The waterfall down the fern overgrown limestone
wall rushing at several natural rock basins is, however, really
impressive only in spring. It flows into a lake which is small
and lined by ferns.
--> Sidi Rbat
(45 km of direction Tiznit in Tiferhal junction of a relatively
bad piste to Sidi Rbat; access shut about Massa because of nature
reserve).
--> Tiznit
(90 km south of Agadir).
Oasis settlement with typical town formation for a Sahara edge
settlement. These reward Souks in which beautiful silver jewelry
work is offered for a visit. Market day is Thursday.
--> Taroudannt
(81 km eastern of Agadir).
Also called "small Marrakech". A beautiful traditional
town with its old pewter wall. You rent a horse coach for 8 euros
there best. One goes astray in the centuries-old labyrinth.
--> Tafraoute
(approximately 170 km southeast of Agadir).
Numerous loft castles and Ksour as well as wonderful landscape
panoramas can be seen on the way. An excursion can be recommended
to the valley of the Ammeln. The little oasis town is 1000 m over
the sea-level in the slopes of the western anti atlas. Bizarre,
depending on solar radiation pink granite rocks -- famous the
chapeau de Napoléon 2 km southern -- surround Tafraoute.
The place is noted for the almond flower in February. Good starting
point for walks and mountain climbs. Wednesday is market day.
--> Valley of the Ammeln
(birds).
(7 km northeastern of Tafraoute (170 km of Agadir), intersection
direction Taguenza).
--> Goulmime
(also Goulimine, about 200 km southwest of Agadir).
The journey over Toznit runs by the Sous-level and by the scenically
impressive ones foothills of the antiatlas which gradually change
into stone and rubble desert.
So a beautiful country!
