SUMMER OF LIFE
The brief glimpse of our life...
Is at the time we take a husband or a wife.
We raise our children to the best of our ability.
Hoping the fruitation is a great reality.
Together we all walk down the path life presents.
There's not really much most of us resents.
The days seem endless and happiness is always there.
We live and love with all those who about we care.
Like a thief in the night...
Time goes by so fast, it gives us a fright.
Suddenly before us we see...
Our grandchilren at our knee.
We look back with not much regret...
Because the best is coming yet.
Our journey is passing with each day.
And now, our summer of life seems so far and away.
