ROSES

• Isn't life like the rose flower?
• In the eons of time it isn't even an hour.
• The dew forms on our petals.
• Amongst us, we have a few nettles.
• Look at all the other roses that grow here,
• And all the colors and kinds so near.
• They could be like friends and family.
• ........All sorts of variety........
• Everyone should stop and smell the flowers!!
• And even look for hours and hours.
• As life passes on it's way.......
• Like the rose, we cannot stay.
• So with friends so precious and few,
• Take another look at life with a different view.
• Realize now there will never be....
• That same flower or life for us to see.
• The fragility of all this here is now.
• So please do not wander, but think of how,
• At this time we can enjoy life more.....
• Instead of worrying about what is in store.
• Dedicated to those that can't stop and smell the roses!
