Welcome to the 7th edition of Gazmission written for Wrestling Envy by Gary Griffiths.

I don’t know what to write. Yes boys and girls, Gazmission has a case of the writers block. As the Great Bruce Springsteen said;

“I get up in the evening and I ain’t got nothing to say,
I come home in the morning,
I go to bed feeling the same way,
I ain’t nothing but tired,
Man I’m just tired and bored with myself.”

Incidentally Bruce wrote them lyrics, when he, like me had writers block, and if that isn’t a fact to make you the most unpopular person in school then I sure as hell don’t know what is.

Anyway, on to wrestling, or should I say Vince TV. As I said I have nothing to really write about, and I told all you people out there that I would never ever write about the latest Raw happenings, or the main stories like what I think of SCSA’s heel turn. Because quite frankly that stuff is boring. So instead of all that over talked about stuff, I will (try) to give you the best and most original column around, and to me that means, a FANTASY TOURNAMENT!

Ok, for this Tourny I am only allowing WWF Champions of the past and present to take part, sorry all you Intercontinental Champions which haven’t quite made the grade, you folks can rest assured that the next time I have writers block, you lot will be included. Anyway, lets get going with this Tournament…

There will be 4 matches, featuring what I feel to be the best champs of all time, you may disagree with me…correction, you will disagree with me, but just for fun….Let’s see things from Gazmissions point of view.

Shawn Michaels V.s Hulk Hogan

Ohhhhhhh isn’t this mouth watering….HBK as the arrogant cocky heel, against Hulk, the hero who’s gonna certainly shut up this obnoxious bad guy. I thnk this would actually be a good match if it were to take place with both men in there prime. We all know HBK can do it, and Hulk has eben known to put in a good performance once every 20 year career he has (WrestleMania VI).
So to me, Hulk would dominate early on, then HBK would make a comeback, hit Sweet Chin Music, Hulk would kick out, Hulk up etc and get the pin.

Ric Flair V.s Stone Cold Steve Austin

This would be one helluva match. SCSA as babyface, kicking hell into the greatest heel that ever lived. I think SCSA would win this with a clean stunner, after suriving the Figure Four.

Triple H V.s Bret Hart

This would be a strong technically sound match. H as heel and Bret as face. There couldn’t possibly be a better match than this corker. Tne in ring phycollogy would be incredible, and the fans would be taken on a rollercoaster emotion ride. I think HHH would win this, maybe after another Vinnie Mac Bret screw job.

The Rock V.s Ultimate Warrior

I prefer Rocky as a heel, so he’d be playing that role going into this match. Shouldn’t be a bad match really, both men can wrestler averegley, and there should be some good strong power moves used. I think that Rocky would have to win this one with assistant from a chair or two.
Kurt Angle V.s SGT Slaughter

This would have to be a USA Flag on a pole match. Slaughter face, Angle heel……A truly great battle for American pride…..Ahhhhhhh could it get any better than this beauty???

And that’s my ideal PPV……..Now you know  what I would do, Id like to hear from you lot……E-Mail me your ideal PPV’s and Ill be sure to post all responses up next addition of Gazmission.

Sorry for the shortness of this column but as I said writers block is a tough thing. Anyway, untill next time See ya in the funny papers……
