Here's where you'll find information on Yoshi's enemies. If you would like information on the Boss Baddies, click here. Otherwise, below are the basic enemies. If any, there would be tips on the baddie's weakness or weak parts.
This is a Shy Guy. He'll be the first enemy you meet. Shy Guys are everywhere! They'll be flying, swimming in submarines, walking on stilts, bouncing on springs, turning up fires, carrying fruit! These guys are really weak, though. Just eat them or stomp on them. BUT, don't eat a Black Shy Guy unless you have a Black or White Yoshi with you. To defeat a Black Shy Guy, just throw an egg at him.
This is Gabon. He'll throw spiked balls at you if you're not careful. You can either lick him, or throw an egg at him. But don't stomp him while he has a spike ball above his head.
This creepy looking bat appears only once in the game. He'll appear in the Lift Castle at Level 6: Finale. To defeat him, aim a perfect egg at him and fire.
This is Blargg. He appears in Level 2: Blargg's Boiler. Be careful where you jump. If you see eyes above the lava, then Blargg will pop up in front of you. He'll just sit there for just a few seconds and will then meekly sink into the lava. Jump quickly before he appears again.
This is a Bombbery. This should not be eaten. It growns in the Jungle Puddle swamps at Level 3: Jungle. It'll grow in two seconds, and fall into the water, so if you're swimming be careful!
This is Bone Dragon. He appears in Bone Dragon Pit at Level 2: Cavern. He appears one headed above ground at first, and if you kill the little monster floating up in the cloud at the middle of the level, hop up on the cloud and go up. You'll see a gap. Hop onto the gap, get 6 eggs, and get into the warp vase. You'll face a three headed bone dragon. Aim your eggs carefully at on of the three heads and if successful, you'll earn three melons. These three-headed Bone Dragons appear twice during the game. To defeat the second dragon, ground-pound its heads.
This is Chomp. He appeared in all the Yoshi games. Mainly, you can't kill him. Don't even try, either.
This is Clam. Can't kill him either. Avoid the bubbles he blows upward. It can force you to a dangreous enemy.
This is the Eel. Don't run into him while swimming. If he swims right into you, you can get payback just by slurping him up.
This is Pakederm. Looks like an elephant. He'll block your way in the basic stages. But don't worry, ground-pound right in front of him,and he'll plop up-side-down. Jump over his stop sign and do the same thing if you want to go back.
This is Raven. You probably can't kill him.
This is the Snorkle Snake/Fish. I have no clue if he could be defeated, but if you know how, please e-mail me how.
This is the Spine Fish. No, he can't be eaten or killed. Just remember to avoid him while swimming in the oceans.
