Here's the spot where you'll find information on many of Yoshis' friends! Maybe some of Yoshis' friends are very familiar and take part in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
This is Miss Warp. There are four of these warp people in each level of Yoshi's Story. All of these Miss Warps will remain sleeping until you wake them up just by stepping on them. Hop on them to warp to a different part of the level you've already been to. The warps will go in order from 1 to 4.
This is Poochy. He's Yoshi's life-long friend since SMW2: Yoshi's Island. This little dog usually barks around areas where you'll find secrets. Where ever he is, he'll probably be near a surprise! Sniff around the area by pressing "R" and if Yoshi waves his arms, you're right on the spot. Ground-pound that spot and you'll get a prize!
This is the White Shy Guy. He's not a baddie. He's a goodie. He'll only appear if you've lost a Yoshi in the Trial or Story modes. If you find the White Shy Guy in a level, complete that level and on the next level when they ask what Yoshi you want, pick the White Shy Guy running around the screen and he'll bring back the last Yoshi you lost during your game.
These are odd looking, aren't they?! They're called the Huffin' Puffin' Family (long name if you ask me). These little puff-ducks also appeared in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. And, like the way it appeared in that game, they can be picked up and thrown. But, this is what's better, you don't have to stomp on the big duck in this game. All you have to do is get close to the ducklings, and move on out! They'll be following you! And...when you throw them, they'll circle right back to you! Pretty cool!
This is the Power Bee. If Yoshi eats just one of these little bees, the petals on it's life meter will be restored. These little harmless bees sure are small, but are powerful!
This is the Power Flower. If Yoshi eats the head of this flower, 2 petals will be restored to its life meter. However, the head grows back, and no matter how many times Yoshi tries to eat it, it'll keep growing back!!!
This is the Turbo Tulip. Like the Power Flower, no matter how many times it's head is licked off, it'll grow a new head each time. But this flower does not restore petals to the life meter. Instead, it'll transform Yoshi into a big egg. Move the cursor to the direction you want to go, wait about 3 seconds, and just let go of the control stick. You'll be launched into the air and bounce off anything blocking the way.
Ahh, one of the most mysterious Yoshis. The White Yoshi. Obviously, I have never found the White Yoshi's egg, and I've never seen it in the game. But I've got evidence that this Yoshi is real. Rumors say that this Yoshi's egg will be found high in the skies of Level 3: Summit- The Tall Tower.
Hmm...another mysterious Yoshi. It's the Black Yoshi. Rumors say that this Yoshi's egg is burried deep down under the dirt inside a cave. I know that this rumor is true. A good friend told me it is. I've even seen the Black Yoshi myself. It's really real!
