Well well well. We've finally gotten to the Items Page. Here, you'll find information about useful items, and bad items.
Special Fruit-Eat 30 of these fruit to complete a level. Best to eat one kind of fruit throughout the level. For example, if you choose a Red Yoshi, eat Apples only, or if Yellow, eat bananas, if Pink, eat Apples, if Light Blue, eat grapes, and if Black or White, eat anything.
Heart Fruit-Make Yoshi extremely happy by making him eat this. Pound the ground and make enemies turn into fruit!
Chili Pepper-Baby humans don't like spicy foods and neither do baby Yoshis. However, Black and White Yoshis are made of sterner stuff. They love Chili Peppers just as much as fruit!
Coins-Each time you collect a coin in a level, you score one point. Collect all of these coins in the level to earn melons.
Egg Block-Hit the block with your head (hit under the block) to get eggs. You may only have 6 eggs following you around.
Message Block-Nudge this block to get tips and hints about where you are, what your enemy's weakness is, or anything else.
Mystery Ball-Since it's inside a bubble, you need to get it by throwing an egg at it. Hmm...wonder what's inside the ball. A Shy Guy?!
Mystery Block-Nudge this box to see what's inside it.
Mystery Crate-Pound this crate to find out what's inside it. If you can't pound it, throw an egg at the Question Mark.
Mystery Switch-Hop on the switch and find out what the switch gave you by looking around.
Pipe-To enter a pipe, hop right on top of it, and press down on the control stick sharply. Some of the pipes can't be fallen into.
Special Heart-Isn't this heart just plain cute?! Collect all three of these hearts to open up all the levels in the next page of the story book.
Surprise Ball-If Yoshi licks this ball, he'll summer-salt and land on top of the ball.
Warp Vase-Warp to the next page of the book. To do so, do what you do to go inside the pipe. This vase is just like it, only sometimes, this vase will take you to special areas.
