For some reason, specialty plates have a disproportionately large popularity with midsize American SUV owners - namely Jeeps - and these are no different. Both were photographed Friday, February 7, 2003, at the University of Denver. The tag on the left was on a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the one on the right was on a Jeep Cherokee. These are the second and third Connecticut lighthouse plates I've ever seen - they're just that rare in Colorado!
