Issued for a $25 fee to anyone who wishes to display license plates commemorating the United States Air Force's 50th anniversary, in 1997. First issued in 1997 or so in the 00000C format, it was immediately recalled due to a minor legibility problem and redesigned. After that redesign, it was given the design above in 2000. It is the only specialty license plate I know of to have been redesigned three times.
