Secure Borders |

The State of
Israel was established through the
m'sirut nefesh
(self-sacrifice) of brave Jews who
returned to our land from the four
corners of the earth. "Hand in hand"
with
haKadosh baruch Hu (the
Holy One, blessed be He), they
fought off the British and the
invading Arab armies, who thought
that they could thwart the
redemption process of the Jewish
people. While others may have
thought otherwise, the goal of
Zionism was, and is, to establish an
independent Jewish state in the land
of the Jewish people, the Land of
Israel.
The purpose
of returning to Zion was to sanctify
the name of G-d and to bring the
Jewish people one step closer to the
final redemption by fulfilling many
of the prophecies written in
Tanach (Bible). We came
here to live as Jews in our land and
in accordance with the ideology of
the Torah. There is no other place
on earth where a Jew can call home.
Although we are obligated to uphold
the Torah anywhere, it can only
truly be observed in the Land of
Israel. The issue here is not
political or financial, it is
religious. Jews
need to have Jewish
sovereignty over the land of Israel
in order to properly observe the
Torah; and Jewish sovereignty over
the land is a great
Kiddush HaShem
(sanctification of God's Name) after
thousands of years of gentile
oppression.
Unfortunately, most Jewish leaders
have been willing to accept less.
They seek merely a safe haven for
our oppressed nation, with agreed
upon and secure borders. Yet, the
fact is that no country in the world
determines its borders as a result
of international (consensus)
agreement. Countries establish their
borders by being a strong enough
force in the region, until their
neighbors must accept them. As Rabbi
Meir Kahane bluntly put it, "If a
bully pushes you and you step back,
he is going to push you again." That
is the way of the world. It is a
tough place, and even tougher if you
re a Jew.
Secure
borders for the state of Israel are
not something that will happen
because of the understanding and
goodwill of the
goyim (nations). The
State of Israel's borders will be
safe and secure when our leaders
realize that these borders will be
only be recognized by the world
after we establish facts on the
ground with our army and with the
help of God. By using our might to
make our point, we will be accepted
and respected by the nations of the
world.
The
international pressure on Israel to
capitulate is caused not only by
anti-Semitism, but by the disgust of
a world that sees the Jews as
crybabies and whiners - "he
started"; "its not my fault"; "its
not fair." A world in which America
enters Afghanistan and Iraq to
protect its citizens from terrorists
on the other side of the globe
cannot fathom a Jewish people that
possesses a renowned army, yet
refuses to eliminate terrorists from
its midst. Our leaders have not yet
overcome the ghetto mentality. They
do not act as rulers of an
independent state, but of a vassal
state; or of a community committee,
lobbying the world to provide
protection for their district.
We must get
back on track by bringing to power
leaders who are dedicated to
establishing a sovereign Jewish
state in the Land of Israel.
We have seen
HaShem's hand in the
battles of 1948, 1967 and 1973. We
must acknowledge
HaShem and accept our
role and His gifts to our people,
realizing that the Jewish people
exist in the Land of Israel only
because God wishes it so. We do not
need the approval of the nations.
God has given us the military might
to protect our borders. The
sovereignty of the state of Israel
will be accepted, respected and
recognized not because the nations
so please, but because they have no
other choice.
