Poems Phill has written for me

Untitled

In this morning, i had a dream
Of the future, so it'd seem.
We were old, and gray as dust.
There we sat, with loving trust.
On this porch of olden oak.
I turned to you and then you spoke.
You said that you, cared so long,
And every morning, sang a song.
(the song)
Deep in love, were these teens.
Against all odds, so it seems.
They held each other, through good and bad,
Made each happy, when they were sad,
With gifts and kisses, and hugs and tears,
We helped each other, through our fears,
Of growing old, and grey as dust,
Of this porch, with loving trust
I looked at you, my eyes were tearing,
Thanked you so much, for simply caring,
For this old man, filled with pride,
That I have you, by my side.

I do not have the words to say it,
But to your heart I deeply plea it
If you understand what you mean to me
I hope some day you can see
That things between us aren't always fine.
But at least i know you are mine.
Magic spell can change the tide,
But my love for you, I cannot hide.
This poem is cheep, yes i know.
But as we stood, and swayed to and fro,
I had this thought, between my ears
That I could love you, for years and years.
With that thought, I'll let this poem end.
And in a secound, I'll click the send.
But before I crash in my bed,
I have another spark in my head.
It says to tell you, that I care.
And if i can I'll be there.
