Power Creek Road leads out of Cordova for approximately seven miles, it follows beautiful Eyak Lake. There are plans to build a hydro-electric plant here and you can no longer drive to the end of the road, or even go past the gate. You may even spot a bear, as they are common in this area. We didn't see one, unfortunately, but we did see a lot of Bald Eagles feeding on the spawning salmon.
