Colorado Scenery - Garden of the Gods - 2002
Garden of the Gods is located at the base of Pikes Peak in Manitou Springs, near Colorado Springs, Colorado. This free admission 1,300 plus acre park is open every day of the year. These towering red sandstone formations are beautiful and reflect the great diversity between the sandstone and the mountains surrounding the area. We drove the paved road around the park, there are many trails you can walk or bike if you desire. There is also a visitor's center that is open daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
