Colorado Scenery - Telluride and Black Bear Pass
To get to Telluride you exit US 550 at Ridgway onto highway 62, the scenery is awesome! A few miles outside of Ridgway you are on top of Dallas Divide, one of our favorite places to view the mountains. At Placerville you head south on Rt. 145. The roads are paved all the way to Telluride. When we arrived at Telluride we headed south towards Black Bear pass, we were in our 2 wheel drive Ford Ranger and didn't know how far we could go up the pass. We stopped and took several photos and waited for someone that was heading down, they were in a little foreign car and said the road was "no problem" as far as the base of the falls. Our decision was made, we headed up. Continue on for some awesome photos of our trip that day.
