The STAR OF INDIA sailed into History on August 9, 1998 as she slipped beneath the Coronado
Bay Bridge en route to Pacific Fleet headquarters to receive the World Ship Trust Award. We
were honored to be invited to serve as host Docents on the voyage. She's 1863 safe, no worries
mate!
