Meet Our Pastor

Jim Mertz is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. He was saved at the age of 9 and answered God's call to the ministry at age 17. Jim is a graduate of Free Will Baptist Bible College with a B.A. in the Bible and Missions and a graduate of Andersonville Baptist Seminary with a M.A. in Pastoral Counseling.
He has led churches in Alabama, Oklahoma and Missouri and is currently the clerk of the First Colorado District of Free Will Baptists.  He was involved in Church Planting for 10 years. His wife is Rose from Wabash, Indiana and they have 2 children: Angel and Matt.
