“Everybody is shocked here in Lebanon from the attacks. Everybody is watching and feeling with the American people because we have suffered from such terrorist attacks in the past and we know what it means. We feel with every family, with every member. So many Lebanese are living in the United States. I, myself, have three children between Washington and New York. So, we feel with every American and every parent of a victim.
We will be ready to help if we are asked, and anyway, I was the first leader in the Arab world who sent his condolences and non-acceptance of what happened."
