Scott Lang was an unsuccessful electronics expert trying to support his family when he turned to burglary. Scott was eventually caught by the authorities and incarcerated for his crimes. While imprisoned, Scott's wife decided to divorce him and take primary custody over their daughter, Cassie. Released early for his good behavior, Scott seeks a second chance with his daughter, his work, and in life.
