One of the longest-serving member of the Brotherhood of Mutants, Dominikos Petrakis can generate vibratory waves from his hands, causing in organic matter to be violently shaken apart. Unhappy with the direction that Mystique was leading the Brotherhood, Avalanche left due to the fact they weren't helping mutantkind.
