Very little is known about the cunning thief called Fantomex, mainly due to his penchant for telling lies and creating telepathic illusions. Created by the same weapons program that produced Wolverine, Fantomex was artificially evolved in a virtual reality domain called 'The World.' This experience left him with super-human reflexes, marksmanship, and discipline. Combined with his sentient techno-organic ship E.V.A., Fantomex is a dangerous enemy... and possibly an even more dangerous ally.
