Physical Appearance: Garrett is a rather tall, skinny appearing guy who almost looks muscle-less, but he really isnt. After years of training under Hwa Rang Do and wrestling with his younger brother, Garr's not too badly defined. He's built like a swimmer really. Albiet he is a little pale (a pinkish almond tone), but that's only because he doesnt have the chance to get tan because of living in a city. (and he doesnt like the idea of skin cancer anyway) His hair is of a fine texture and tends to fly every-which way, and falls over his forehead as it nearly reaches his eyes. Its rather Rock Star. It doesn't help that he keeps it rather long, but not the type of long that runs down his neck. It's almost like a backwards mullett. (mullett=short hair on top, long in the back. Garrett=long hair on top, short in the back) His eyes are of a sky blue hue and when he smiles they make him look even happier. However when he's mad, they have a tendancy to look incredibly sinister. His nose is rather pointed, but not so much as to put an eye out. His face is rather long and slender, and comes down to a semi-sharp, medium sized chin. Another distinguishing mark are his hands. They're also rather long and slender (on the brink of bony), which make it even easier for him to play guitar. (with guitar players, their left hand will always have calloused finger-tips) His clothing choice can be rather odd at times. He often wears oddly coloured button up shirts of the silk-ish variety (buttoned up nearly all the way) He hardly ever wears jeans or khakis, and most of his pants are not of the popular baggy variety. His favorite pair of pants came from a vintage store, and are striped in light grey-blues and a dark, almost periwinkle colour.

How this shaped his personality...: Living without rules could have become a horrible tradgity if it wasn't for Garrett's own strict self-made rules. (however when he was young, Garrett was a real monster, who terrorized his brother and was a pain when the parents were around. When they weren't he became the "adult" to try to keep himself and Gavin out of trouble) Hwa Rang Do was incredibly important to Garrett at a young age because it had rules and boundaries and life lessons. In a way, it was his raising. As he grew up, he became a little less attached to it, but it is still very much a part of his life. He also grew up closely with his brother, but he maintains his "I am the older brother and will take care of you" relationship with him now, although they still get in arguments and sometimes physical sprawls. Since Garrett took on a lot of responsibilty upon himself at a young age, he as unwittingly become the psuedo-parent of everyone in his band. If things go wrong, everyone turns to Garrett for help, and it seems as though he is the only one thinking of consequences that may bite them in the future. Needless to say, Garrett is often stressed but he uses yoga and meditation to relaxe. If things get too stressing or if things go wrong, Garrett often goes to the one person whom he feels on the same plan with; his best friend from high school Elaina. He knows he can rely on her, and talk to her about anything, and she can do the same with him. So their relationship is a calming equal to him.
Basic Personality: Garrett is out to do what he loves and make a living out of it. And what he loves is music and writing. He also has the mindset of someone who couldn't care less of what other people think of him. He's a friendly curteous guy for the most part, but he's not exactly outgoing. He's outgoing mostly when it comes to the band. His friends like him because he has an interesting pull to him, and they respect his opinions. A lot of times they just like to wind him up and let him go just to see what he does. He may be a bit crabby some days, but his friends still joke with/at him, or leave him alone altogether. Garrett's mind will often be on the subject of a new song, where to get the next gig, how to further better the band, or thinking about life in general. He is also always thinking of his friends, and nearly always puts them ahead of himself. Although with all his thinking, he hasn't thought of himself personally, as opposed to thinking of his career self. So if you were to ask him what his life goals beyong the band were, you'd probably get a dumbfounded expression. Garrett balances out his role of psuedo-parent by going out on his own often. He'll often go to a coffee shop or park by himself to sit and think and write. This is more refreshing to him, than say, a large kegger party that is refreshing to most people his age. Although he is most often a serious guy, he will join his friends in roudy laughter, pranks, and teasing the hell out of each other.
Smarts: World-smart, street smart. Overly mature for his age.
Sexuality: Hetero. However, doesnt have an overactive sex drive. Mind set: doesn't have the time for dating/relationships. Picky.

Band Role: Leader. Main Lyricist. Lead singer. Rhythym guitarist.

Band Manerisms: Excellent eye contact with audience. Often stops playing and uses hand gestures to communicate the song. Loves to point at people. Will jump around if Colin is already jumping around. Sometimes falls to the stage on purpose and continues singing/playing from there.
Religion: Hwa Rang Do is the closest thing to a religion Garrett has (maybe yoga too?), but often wonders about Karma, and tends to work with it in mind.
Goals: As stated somewhere above, his main goal in life is make it as a musician. His personal goals are yet unresolved to him.

Movies: Generally doesnt go to movies unless his friends drag him. Enjoys them best when with his friends, because they're often more interesting. Enjoys Indie movies, and old weird classics.
Gavin: ***** Being his brother he has to like him a certain degree, but Garrett probably likes his brother more then even he knows. Gavin sometimes gets on Garrett's nerves just because Gavin often plays the "annoying little brother" game for old times sake. Garrett is often in awe of his brothers genius-like mind, but also wonders about why he can be so flakey. Sometimes feels sorry for him because he knows he'll have something important figured out, but no one would understand it.
Adam: ****** Respects Adam's rebellion from his dysfunctional family and his choice not to accept any financial support from them despite their wealth. Doesn't always agree with Adam's flamboyant lifestyle, but in a way almost envies him for it. Laughs at Adam's humour.
Colin: ******* Likes Colin for his musicality, and disgustingly high amount of humbleness. Also likes him, because when on stage Colin will often draw the crazy fun part out of him, which the audiences also enjoy. Is amazed by Colin's incredible vocal and guitar talents. Sometimes Colin's natural cheery nature gets on his nerves.
Javier: ******** Likes Javier, because oddly enough he feels as though he can talk to him sometimes. Likes the fact that Javier is both comedic and a thinking individual when it's needed. (He just really wishes Javier would tone down the comic act about 50 degrees) Garrett also respects Javier's own responsibility, and likes the idea that he can fend for himself. Likes not having to worry about him as much as the other guys in the band.
Elaina Kole: ********** (best friend) Garrett respects her similar desires to make it in the world doing what she loves. Garrett respects her opinions, and he knows she respects his. He likes the fact he can talk to her about anything, and respects that she can do the same with him. Likes that they have mutual shoulders to cry on if needed, and that they're not afraid to give each other advice when needed. Sometimes worries about the way she handles some situations emotionally.
