Gene, who is not only a great artist, but also one of the nicest people you will ever meet, was kind enough to introduce me to Tom Palmer. Tom in turn was nice enough to ink the piece. However to avoid covering up Gene's pencils, Tom Palmer transferred the illustration and inked it separately. WOW!
