Today, the Invaders have reunited to combat the Axis Mundi, a global terrorist network born from the ashes of the Third Reich. During the first public operation, the New Invaders helped free the oil-rich desert nation Mazikhandar from Axis Mundi control.
Although a provisional governing body has been installed, Mazikhandar is still wracked by daily attacks of deadly synthesic assassins called the Pterorists. That's why the New Ivaders are now protecting Manikhandar.
