When Darla gave birth of Angel's child she died, so he could be saved. Being brought up by his vampire pop, Connor had everything he needed, but had it all taken away when Holtz stole him, and vanished into a demon dimension only to return as the scariest thing of all, a teenage boy. Believing Angel to be nothing but evil, Connor sent Angel to a watery grave, hoping he would stay there. After Angel came back though Connor went flying off the rails, living rough on the streets of LA, sleeping with Cordy, getting her pregnant then finally killing there offspring then trying to kill himself. It was then that Angel gave his son the only gift he could, arranging for him to have a real family with no memories of who he used to be.

Born and raised in Minneapolis and the youngest of six children, Kartheiser trained at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis. He performed in several stage productions including A Christmas Carol when he was just 6 years old. An avid reader and traveler, the young actor has visited all 50 states in addition to England, Germany, Switzerland and Australia. When not acting, Kartheiser enjoys being in the great outdoors.
