Dawn ia Buffy's sister, she is also the key, a secret which will give the opening Glory wants to return home. Dawn hold emense power, but also has to deal with being a teenager. She lost her mother and now she only has her sister, the one person in all the world who loves her because she is human and not because she is the key. It was this love that made Buffy kill herself for Dawn, and it was also this love that made Buffy pull herself out of the darkness she was going through. Dawn has had to grow up fast, even starting high school turned into a battle, a battle with the demons of high school students past. The school year carried on getting stranger and stranger, all thanks to the evil seal that was in the high school basement. With her sister working in the school Dawn couldn't get away with much, but learned how to become a better fighter. Now Sunnydale has been sucked down into Hell Dawn can now, like her sister, begin to lead a normal life, but now what's next?

A native New Yorker, Trachtenberg has been acting since the age of 4, when she appeared in her first commercial. Since then she has been in over 100 commercial, TV and Film productions. For the past four years she has been an active spokesperson for Kmart Kids Race Against Drugs, RADD, Dare America and The Starlight Foundation. In her spare time Michelle enjoys swimming, roller-blading, ice skating and writing short stories.
Trivia Facts
She worked with Sarah Michelle Gellar on All My Children before Buffy and they were good friends. Sarah was the one who recommended Michelle for the part of Dawn.
