Giles is the force behind Buffy. He is her watcher and her parent figure. He has all the information in which to help Buffy defeat her foes and sometimes even steps in himself. Although a very quiet character Giles had an on screen romance with Jenny Calander, sadly a victim of Angel. Giles is always there and Buffy believes she couldn't go on without him behind her. He is like Clark Kent, watcher by night and libraian by day. Having left the council and trying to find a middle ground in his life, which was buying the magic shop. He was re-hired as a watcher. After leaving twice for England, Giles returned to help save Willow from herself at the end of season six and then took her back to England to recover. Still important to the gang, Giles will always be the one person they can help fight the forces of darkness, and he came through for them. When The First started stirring up all kinds of evil in Sunnydale and killing off potential Slayers he went around the world rounding up who was left and bringing them to the Summers house, helping train them and get them ready for the fight. He now is one of the only Watchers left in the world, is his future building the council back up again?

Head had enjoyed a successful acting career in his (and my) native England, but it was a popular series of coffee commercials that brought him his greatest recognition in the United States. Head was born in Camdentown, England and grew up in Hampton. He attended the London academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and got his big break playing Jesus in Godspell. Head devides his time between homes in LA and London.

Once played Dr. Frank N Furter in a London stage production of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". He met his girlfriend Sarah while shopping for his costume in the women's lingerie department.
