May 13th 2003: E! Entertainment have shown a clip of new Buffy and Angel has returned!
The WB's Fall Schedule has been announced and James Masters or Spike as you know him, is moving over to Angel for its fifth season. It also promises some guest apperences from the folks of Sunnydale.
May 10th 2003: It has been reported on E! News that yes there is going to be a death in the final episode of Buffy, but it will not be one of the original cast, place your bets now folks.
April 25th 2003: The final Buffy has been filmed and put in the can and the stars came out to party last week. As the BBC Cult website reports,
"It was very, very bittersweet, an emotional day for everyone," Alyson Hannigan told reporters. "Lots of tears, lots of hugs. It was great, though."
An impressive turnout for the party saw current stars Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon, Anthony Head, Tom Lenk, Danny Strong and James Marsters reunite with old favourites Amber Benson, Juliet Landau, Seth Green and Julie Benz.
In other Buffy news it has been reported by a really awful British newspaper that pop tart Holly Valance is to play the next Buffy, surprising really as the show wrapped forever last week.
February 26th 2003: It has been reported today that after seven seasons Buffy the Vampire Slayer will come to an end this season. As Yahoo reports, 'Buffy,' in this incarnation, is over," Gellar told Entertainment Weekly magazine for its March 7 issue, her eyes welling with tears. The series will wrap up with a five-part story, which will include the return of Faith, the bad-girl slayer, and Buffy's first love, Angel. "We're gearing up to tell a fabulous, huge, great arc," Gellar said. "It's going to be pretty spectacular." But the show may come back to life in some form: Its creator, Joss Whedon, is planning a spin-off that may include some "Buffy" cast members. It will be pitched first to UPN, "Buffy's" home for the past two seasons; for five seasons before that, it was on the WB. Gellar, 25, gained fame on the cult hit as Buffy Summers, a perky high school student burdened with the responsibility of killing vampires in the seemingly idyllic town of Sunnydale, Calif.
January 24th 2003: Sorry again for the lack of updates so here is a quick update. The new series of Buffy has started on Sky One and can be seen every thursday at 8.00pm on Sky One.
Speaking of Buffy you can catch her husband Freddie Prinze Jr in the hit play 'This is our Youth' playing in London's West End.
Buffy star Alyson Hannigan has announced her engagement to Angel star Alexis Densiof. Congratulations to both.
December 17th 2002: I haven't really updated news for A-G-E-S but as I'm very busy with university its hard to keep up to date with everything, however all seasons and airing dates are kept up to date! I've just added a quiz, so please take it! I'm currently writing my third year thesis based on Buffy so if anybody out there thinks they have some great reading or any points of ideas please feel free to e-mail me, and I'll start posting regular updates on my progress. I'd just like to finish this sorta update by wishing everbody a really great christmas and a fangtastic new year.
September 28th 2002: Huge update just done, I have added a new season guide (season seven), updated all bios and pics, and generally tided everything up. Hope you all enjoy!

January 10th 2002: Ok big update needed, again I'm sorry for the delay, I've been sick and busy etc etc. Ok NEW!! Buffy starts tonight in the UK on Sky One 8.00pm. Don't miss it or I'll send Spike round. Secondly the UK Buffy magazine is now producing the US magazine so US fans look out for that. James Marsters cancelled his London signing, any new details I will post soon. Rat Race with Seth Green is released this coming friday in the UK. Sarah Michelle Gellar is on the cover of Bliss magazine. That's all I can think of at the moment, so remember to tune in tonight and enjoy!
November 13th 2001: My computer has decided to die, so if the updates are a little late please forgive me. James 'Spike' Masters is doing a signing at Forbidden Planet London in 2 weeks time. Its s ticket only event, which has already sold out so don't go and line up unless you have a ticket (which isn't me). Also the new seasons of Buffy and Angel will be making their debut back on British TV screens around the first week of january on Sky TV, so keep checking your listings. On a final note, this week sees the Buffy O scars so wish me luck!
October 1st 2001: Ok kill me I haven't updated the news section in ages, but summer=work, so now I have a free hour I'm trying to update the page. For starters UPN is showing the new Buffy trailer and also little teaser for the new season which looks fantastic. Keep checking it out!

June 11th 2001: Today was a fantastic Buffy day. I met Amber Benson (Tara) and the man himself Joss Whedon at Forbidden Planet in London. I also bought the new comic book created by Joss, Fray, and its fantastic so go out and buy it now!

May 4th 2001: Buffy to move American stations. Here is the letter addressed to the viewers.
Dear Buffy Fans,
As you are probably aware, Buffy the Vampire Slayer will be leaving The WB at the end of this summer after five seasons with our network.
Of course we're disappointed that Buffy won't be part of our long-term future, but we couldn't be prouder of what we've accomplished through years of nurturing and believing in the show, and of the achievements to date of the talented cast and crew. It took a lot of time, effort and energy to get this show on the air at a time when there was nothing else out there like it, and to make it a success even when others doubted.
Knowing how much you care about the show, we negotiated strongly to keep it on The WB, but ultimately the price 20th Television wanted was too high for us to pay while continuing to bring you other quality programming six nights a week.
You will definitely want to see what happens in Sunnydale as the current season draws to a close. With the same passion we brought to Buffy, we're also working on some amazing new programs for next season we think you'll be very excited about, and are looking forward to announcing those on TheWB.com in a few weeks.
We'll keep Buffy.com going for as long as the show is still on The WB, and TheWB.com will continue to be your best source for what's happening on the network.
