The Vampire Fighter

Spike is a bad boy, well at least he was until he was chipped. One half on the evil Jack and Jill that was Spike and Drusilla, they ripped through Sunnydale destroying everything they touched. By being dumped for a Fugus Demon really upset Spike so he returned to Sunnydale with a new g/f (Harmony) and still the same old cause (wanting to kill the Slayer). However this idea was short lived as he was soon chipped and unable to hurt another human soul. He can however fight demons and is, if an unwilling member of the Scooby Gang. He however was not unwilling when it came to starting a relationship with Buffy, finally getting himself a soul to make him a better man for her. Getting back in Buffy's good books however was no mean feat. She still had not forgiven Spike for the attempted rape, so he hid in the basement of Sunnydale High, getting brainwashed by The First and starting to kill people again. Once the trigger was fixed he started working with Buffy and the gang to finally defeate The First. Having a soul made Spike an important part of the battle process, helping to destory the hellmouth and all the Ubervamps The First had created. This process meant Spike giving his life and as he was about to die Buffy said she loved him. He knew it wasn't the truth and told her so, but was glad to hear it. This isn't the last of Spike though, he will be Angel's newest friend (or is that foe?) when Wolfram and Hart is taken over by Angel Investigations.
