The Singing Demon

A singing demon from a dimension of black and white, where art and music didn't exist. He was sucked into LA by a magic portal, and set up his own bar, where by singing a song, the host could tell what was going on inside the minds of others, and could give advice and gudience. He was killed when he returned home, a sign that 'Princess' Cordelia wasn't in control anymore. However, thanks to the fact his body wasn't dismembered he lived to sing another song, Over the Rainbow to be exact, and landed back in LA. After his bar was totally destroyed, he moved in with Angel and Co, finally leaving for Las Vegas when he knew that something bad was coming. Las Vegas however didn't help Lorn either, working on the black market it was up to Angel, Fred and Gunn to save him, bringing him back to LA. Things didn't run too smoothly there either, rains of fire, demon leaders and battles ensued but everything seems a bit better with Lorn around!

Trivia Facts
Andy Hallett got his agent after he appeared for the first time on Angel. She spotted him singing and acting in the second season premiere episode, Judgment. The morning after the show was broadcast she called up the BtVS/AtS casting agent and asked about him. He signed with her shortly thereafter.
His character's name, Lorne, on Angel, is short for Krevlornswath of the Deathwok Clan. For a while, his character had no name and was referred to simply as The Host of the demon-karaoke bar called Caritas.
It takes him two and a half hours to have the red-eyed, green-skinned, two-horned makeup applied for his role as Lorne on Angel.
