Angel was always going to be good. There was no doubt in my mind that it would be good, but that fact it was more than good was a nice surprise. David Boreanaz, had through the past three seasons, carved out a very deep character. As an avid viewer of the show I had seen good Angel, evil Angel and moping in the darkness Angel. His relationship with Buffy kept viewers stuck to their seats, surprising for a character that wasn't going to make it out of Season One. Angel's relocation to LA makes for great storytelling, considering even I felt he was restricted in Sunnydale. The story of his life comes out piece by piece, and Angel has to face more challanges, including a big evil law firm, the death of his close friend and his own doubts about himself. Being joined mid-season by Wesley, the rouge demon hunter, Angel's cast produce a riviting if sometimes comedic hours worth of good television.
