25 years & still no stars

Twenty-five years after launching C-SPAN, chairman Brian Lamb is
still the network's most familiar face - and proud that neither he nor
anyone else there has become a TV star.

His peeves would also include the occasional intrusion, during the
phone-in shows, by Howard Stern fans who disrupt the proceedings
with their eventually crude language.

"That stuff irritates you," Lamb admitted, "because it's not being
done for First Amendment reasons or anything else. It's just being
done because they haven't got anything better to do.
