History of the 1st Marines

The 1st Marine Divison is an extremely skilled group of American leathernecks. They constanty proved their bravery and skill in combat. They were the first troops in Guadalcanal. Outnumbered, they fought the better equipped and better fed Japanese troops to a stand still. Later they participated in many other campaings including the battles of Peleilu, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa.
