I front and write songs for the group The Strings, 1970s west coast of North American influenced avatars of sophisto-pop. The Strings play regular shows in London, and recently supported britpop heroes The Bluetones at the Metro club on Oxford Street. The group are currently recording their debut album - working title Crimson Tide - which should be completed by Spring 2003. Click here to view The Strings' website.

I also play bass guitar for the country-not-western trailblazers Woodchuck, whose recent single Crash Positions was playlisted on Virgin Radio. The video for the song (see below) features a celebrity guest appearance and has been aired on Channel 4 and MTV2.

I am also involved in promoting band nights in Camden and the West End. If you are in or represent a band and are looking for gigs feel free to send me your demo:

EL PRESIDENTE RECORDS:

Together with four others, I help to run a small-time record label 'collective' known as El Presidente. So far, El Presidente has released one 7" single has sold well in Poland I am told. With our next release we aim to break more even.
