ORIGIN-Father Julius Croswell was a priest in New York's Hell's Kitchen until one fateful night when he intervened in three teenager's demonic summonings. One of the Teenagers meant himself to be a host for the Demon Jamal, instead father Julius was Possessed. Because he was a preist and a man of God, neither the Priest nor the Demon could be in complete control resulting in the two becoming Scrath. A being who isn't a preist but isn't quite a demon either. Scratch Joined the Coven soon afterward (the exact time is not known). He has also developed a love affair with Spellcaster.
